The event comes from the idea of bringing to London a little of what happens, routinely, in the various regions of Brazil. Sitting in a bar, eating and listening to cool music has always been a passion for Brazilians, especially on Sundays. The band in partnership with Chef Jo Nonato decided to create such a thing. "Feijoada Completa" is a popular dish from north to south of the country, so it ends up being chosen to be the flagship of the event. Since its debut in March 2017, the party has been promoting Brazilian culture in London with high public acceptance. It has been 25 events so far with absolute success. The doors open at 2pm, where people can sit down and order the feijoadas (usually the tables are booked in advance). A variety of snacks and sweets are also prepared, including a vegan version of the feijoada. Drinks are always available at the bar with affordable deals. Chef Jo serves the Feijoada (black beans stew cooked with pork and meat) accompanied with white rice, spring onions, orange and farofa. So if you do not know this event yet, it is worth enjoying a Sunday off dancing with Samba do Chapéu that organizes a live session from 4pm, just after lunch, perfect for digestion. The band plays 2 sets with DJ covering the break. This event is open to all the public. With a family atmosphere, it ends up attracting parents, grandparents and children. It has also been chosen by many people to celebrate birthdays, with the band always singing happy birthday making the party a super nice mood. The place is modern and easily accessible, close to Regents Park with an indoor and outdoor area as well. Capacity for approximately 250 people. Tickets are sold in advance through the Ticket Tailor website or at the door and cost £ 15 including feijoada and admission. It is recommended that people contact the location at 020 7387 0361 or 075 4086 4851 to to reserve their table.
